Features (preliminary):

• 6 ch Analog I/O (XLR) and Stereo Bus Out (XLR-5pin), 8 ch Digital I/O (D-Sub 25pin), Recording tracks; 1 track to 8 tracks by passing internal mixer.
• 8 track poly file recording. 6 individual tracks + 2 stereo mix tracks or straight 8 track recording via digital input (in 44.1/48kHz)
• Approx. 85min recording time with 24bit/48kHz/6trk per 4.7GB DVD-RAM or individual HDD partition
• Equipped with a 1.8" 80GB HDD and 12cm DVD Multi Drive as standard. *4.7GB bare DVD-RAM, -R and -RW disc. User replaceable HDD. Spare HDD option will become available in development.
• DDR Mirror recording offers the simultaneous recording onto a HDD partition and DVD-RAM disc. The DVD-R/RW is used for backing up the data from HDD partition, no direct recording available in this mode.
• Recording in BWF file format. The file can be imported to the computer software together with TC.
• 8 track recording with 24bit/16bit, 44.1/48kHz, 4 track recording with 24bit, 88.2/96kHz, 2 track recording with 24bit, 176.4/192kHz
• Digital Mixer with Analog like operation. Equipped with channel link, HPF and limiter
• 0.1% Fs pull up/down
• Data is automatically backed up every minute without user interface.
• Pre record function to avoid missing critical record start timing.
• USB 2.0 device function can mount a HDD partition as well as DVD-RAM contents to a computer. USB 2.0 Host function will be available in future development.
• IDX Endura V-Mount batteries can be used (Max 4 cells mounted). The NP-1 battery can also be used with the IDX made adaptor.
• Using the Stereo Bus output (XLR-5pin) together with the 6 channel discrete analog outputs creates 8 simultaneous analog outputs.
• The 9 pin remote port offers connection to another PD606 or PD204 to link simultaneous recording. The function will be available in future development.
• Fully functional SMPTE TC generator with jam sync to external TC. It conforms to standard frame rates.
• VIDEO, Tri-Level and WORD sync available.
