Joe Ciaudelli

Joe is a 20-year Sennheiser veteran. Upon graduating from Columbia University with an electrical engineering degree, Joe was hired by Sennheiser as an applications engineer.

He provided frequency coordination for large multi-channel wireless microphone systems used by Broadway productions, major theme parks and broadcast networks, including the frequency plan used for NFL football games. He wrote the Turbo-RF software which became the industry standard planning tool of the time. In addition, he wrote the white paper “Large Multi-Channel Wireless Mic Systems,” published by industry trade journals, the NAB and InfoComm proceedings, and the Audiocyclopedia. Joe is currently Director of Advanced Projects & Engineering Services.

Henry Cohen

Henry is senior RF engineer/designer and supervises FCC compliance at CP Communications in Elmsford, NY. Graduating Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering, he began working with land mobile radio systems, formally holding an FCC 2nd class license. For the last twenty five years, he’s worked extensively with low power auxiliary broadcast equipment (wireless microphones, intercom, IEMs and IFBs) as an RF technician, designer and frequency

Henry has served a diverse clientele including NBC Universal, ABC, QVC, Fox, Disney Theatrical, League of Theatrical Producers, Jack Morton Worldwide, General Motors, Fireworks by Grucci, Country Music Association, JP Morgan Chase, Cirque du Soleil, Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Opera, Madison Square Garden Entertainment/Radio City Music Hall, NBA, MLB, NFL, several Broadway theatrical productions, concert tours, The Commission on Presidential Debates, and several presidential inaugural committees.

Andrew Funk

Andrew began working with Sennheiser in 1985 when he developed state of the art multichannel wireless systems for use in Broadway theaters and touring companies. Since that time he has worked as a Local One IATSE sound engineer in numerous venues in New York City, including Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera, NY City Center, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Broadway credits include The 39 Steps, Curtains, Lennon, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Boy From Oz, Spelling Bee, Movin’ Out, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Grease, Bring in ‘da Noise Bring in ‘da Funk, and Tommy. He also provides wireless system design and audio system service and support for various sound companies worldwide.

Uwe Sattler

After a brief career in R&D for Telefunken, Uwe came to the USA early in 1969 as their customer service manager. He started as Service Manger for Sennheiser’s US organization in Feb. 1971 and helped build Sennheiser’s reputation as a supplier of professional wireless microphone systems and electro-acoustic products. Between 1977 and 1987 Uwe explored complementary technical challenges in audio and control systems for Film and TV, and migrated to customer service for consumer electronics during a highly interesting period of innovative product introductions, from digital audio, video games, cameras and recorders to personal computers.

Aside the successful creation of our industry leading Service Department, other milestones along the way to his current position of Director of Technical Services are on-site technical support to NBC during the 1996, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008 Olympic Games, as well design and support assistance for numerous shows and special events.
