The Atlanta Mixer Mixer is coming up with events all weekend long from Friday, November 3rd  to Sunday, November 5th!

Friday

  • 10am-12pm: Lectrosonics Workshop at IATSE Local 479, followed by lunch
  • 1pm-2:30pm:  Shure Workshop at IATSE Local 479
  • 8pm-12am: Gotham Kick-Off Party at Monday Night Garage

Saturday

  • 9am-10:30am: Ambient Workshop at IATSE Local 479
  • 10:45am-12pm: Viviana Workshop at IATSE Local 479
  • 2pm-10pm: Food, Fun, & Fellowship Potluck at Encyclomedia

Sunday

  • 9am-4pm: Manufacturer Meet & Greet w/ presentations, demos, and prizes
  • 5pm: After-Party at Trew Audio

IATSE Local 479 is located at at 4220 International Parkway #100. All events there are open to the public.

Friday, November 3rd

10am-12pm: Lectrosonics Workshop at IATSE Local 479

Nick Mariano from Lectrosonics will talk about covering the new Lectrosonics portable wireless and Wireless Designer software, immediately followed by lunch.

1pm-2:30pm Shure Workshop at IATSE Local 479

8pm-12am: Gotham Kick-Off Party at Monday Night Garage

Kick the weekend off officially with a round of drinks and artisanal handcrafted pizza sponsored by Gotham Sound Atlanta at Monday Night Garage at 933 Lee St SW!

Filmmakers from all departments are welcome, along with their families.

Saturday, November 4th

9am-10:30am: Ambient Workshop at IATSE Local 479

Time code and sync workshop.

10:45am-12pm: Viviana Workshop at IATSE Local 479

A workshop on how to lav for reality shows when you can't choose the clothes and time is tight. Bring your nightmare outfit and headphones!

2pm-10pm Food, Fun, & Fellowship Potluck at Encyclomedia

Encyclomedia will be hosting a potluck at 1526 Dekalb Avenue NE with traditional whole hog by Lectrosonics, food truck by Shure, and banana pudding and collard greens from Dream Land.
Local guests are asked to bring a covered dish.

Sunday, November 5th

9am-4pm: Manufacturer Meet & Greet at IATSE Local 479

Sunday heralds presentations with production audio manufacturers and dealers, plus demos, door prizes, and refreshments!

Gotham Sound will be there, of course, plus the good people of Ambient, Blackbird Carts, DPA, Deity, Hide-a-Mic, K-Tek, Lectrosonics, Myna, Onabell, Pliant Technologies, RF Venue, Radius Windshields, Redding Audio, Sanken, Shure, Sound Devices, Trew Audio, Vision2 Marketing, Viviana, Voice of Turk, Wisycom, Zaxcom, and more!
