The A10-Rack is a Dante-enabled enclosure that accepts up to four slot-in, dual channel wireless microphone receivers. It offers power and antenna distribution, accommodates up to eight channels of analog and/or digital audio via XLR connectors, and includes an eight-channel Dante audio interface.
Most unislot and SuperSlot™ receivers are compatible, including the Audio Limited A10-RX and Wisycom and Lectrosonics slot receivers. Each receiver outputs analog or AES and Dante signals simultaneously or, if the receiver supports it, can be set to output analog or AES individually.
Compatible slot receivers:
The A10-Rack features antenna distribution with bias power for active antennas It also features pass-through capability to cascade two A10-Racks for a total of sixteen channels.
The A10-Rack occupies one rack-unit and it is ideal for cart-based workflows and productions that require integration with a full Dante audio network. Adjustable rack ears allow the unit to be set to three different depths.
The Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet protocol, better known as Dante™, allows for true networking where signal can be sent to many destinations without degradation or extra hardware. Connect the A10-Rack to a Dante network, and all eight channels of high-quality audio from the wireless receivers can be transported over a single Cat5 network cable. Monitoring and routing of signals from transmitters to receivers is simplified with the Dante Controller, a free software application from Audinate.
The A10-Rack also sports RF inputs with 12V powering of active antennas, plus loop-thru connections for another A10-RAack. This provides seamless integration between two connected A10-Racks with a single pair of antennas – resulting in reduced complexity for 16-channel configurations and additional cost savings.
The A10-Rack is powered with a standard 4-pin F-XLR 10-18v DC power supply such as the Sound Devices XL-WP4. A power supply is not included with delivery. The power supply should be capable of providing 3A minimum for proper powering of the A10-Rackand the slot receivers.
