AD224 Antenna Distribution System

The AD224 is a 2-in and 2x4-out active antenna distribution system suitable for sound bag use with custom tuned high selectivity front-end exceptionally low insertion loss bandpass filters. The AD224 eliminates multiple receiver antennas and provides a tidy sound bag solution with improved RF performance. Advanced filtering design cleans up dirty RF within the operating bandwidth before feeding into the
Diversity Receivers. This is important in crowded radio frequency spectrum to protect the receivers from unwanted RF signals.

The antenna inputs are BNC connectors for standard low loss RF coaxial extension cables and the outputs are 2x4 mini-RF SMA connectors for feeding the diversity receivers.

In applications when remote active antenna powering is needed. the AD offers switchable active antenna powering.

The AD224 has an extremely high input signal handling capacity with an exceptionally low noise figure and offers an outstanding intermodulation performance for a low power device.

The tuning bandwidth is custom tuned with a semi broadband response to suit varying applications. The system RF gain is user adjustable in 1dB steps between +6dB to -10dB. The AD224 is compatible with full-digital, digital-hybrid and analog radio microphone receivers.

The AD unit is externally powered between 10-18Vdc with an industry standard 4-pin Hirose connector. The built-in voltmeter continuously displays DC input voltage status.
