Konos Microphone Array

Konos is a compact 80 element high fidelity microphone array with adjustable directivity, rear channel, and real-time noise filtering to capture clear sound in challenging sonic conditions. Delivery includes microphone, processor box, and cables.

The Variable Cone Technology (VCT) allows users to adjust directivity and switch between extremely narrow or wide pickup angles. Adjust the pickup pattern to suit the environment, all with one mic:

• Narrow Beam
  The Narrow Beam setting allows you to really focus in on a subject. Think of this as your hypercardioid microphone setting. This setting is particularly useful when trying to capture audio from a source that is far away.
   
• Mid Beam
  The Mid Beam enables a wider capture pattern which is typical of cardioid type microphones. This setting is useful when you want to hear more of the room.
   
• Wide Beam
  The Wide Beam captures a full 180° in front of the microphone. This setting gives you the freedom to capture a very wide setting. Useful both indoors and outdoors.

Sharp off-axis rejection and significantly reduced side and rear lobes keeps your pickup tight through a wide range of frequencies, over long distances, and with impressive noise handling tolerance for great natural sounding audio.

Multiple outputs provide both targetted and ambient audio simultaneously as distinct channels, enabling more creative and technical possibilities.

Konos Select noise filtering technology allows you to eliminate off-axis noise in real-time, with low impact on fidelity.
