Mushroom Mic Foam Windscreen with Large Hole

The Mushroom Mic Foam is a high-quality acoustic foam windshield designed for use with a RAD shock mount and small pencil condenser microphones 19-22 mm in diameter like the Sennheiser MKH 50.

The Radius range of microphone foams are made from high-quality acoustic foam designed to prevent plosives, boom swings swooshes and other light wind noise, while not interfering with high frequency audio capture. The semi-open cell material is also resistant to UV and moisture.

Shaped like a mushroom, the foam has a thick circular end around the capsule with a hollow cavity which provides a larger dead-air space. The thinnest part of the foam that wraps around the microphones has been lined with silicone to create a non-slip grip. The tapered shape allows it to be pushed all the way on very short condensers whereas the thin area fits without touching the RAD hoops.
