AD226-MB Multiband Antenna Distribution System with DC Outputs

The AD226-MB is a 2-in and 6x4-out active antenna distribution system with digitally tuned variable frequency and six Hirose DC output connectors suitable for sound bag use. The custom tuned bandwidths in the frequency range 470-832MHz offer the user selectable semi-broadband filtering options to suit any receiving systems available. The AD226-MB eliminates multiple receiver antennas and provides a tidy sound bag solution with improved RF performance.

Advanced filtering design cleans up dirty RF within the operating bandwidth before feeding into the Diversity Receivers. This is important in crowded radio frequency spectrum to protect the receivers from unwanted RF signals.

The antenna inputs are BNC connectors for standard low loss RF coaxial extension cables and the outputs are 2x6 mini-RF SMA connectors for feeding the diversity receivers.

In applications when remote active antenna powering is needed. the AD offers switchable active antenna powering.

The AD226-MB has an extremely high input signal handling capacity with an exceptionally low noise figure and offers an outstanding intermodulation performance for a low power device.

The tuning bandwidth is custom tuned with a semi broadband response to suit varying applications. Th eRF gain is user adjustable in 1dB steps between +6dB to -10dB. The AD226-MB is compatible with full-digital, digital-hybrid, and analog radio microphone receivers.

The AD unit is externally powered between 10-18Vdc with an industry standard 4-pin Hirose connector and there are six Hirose DC output connectors available for powering auxiliary equipment. Each DC output port can be individually turned on or off through the display menu. The built-in voltmeter continuously displays DC input voltage status.
