Meet Core+, a new technology from DPA Microphones that promises to neutralize distortion across the entire dynamic range of the microphone making any residual distortion imperceptible to the naked ear and virtually unmeasurable.

Core+ microphones have the same dynamic range, noise level, and distortion level as the original Core, while providing even more clarity at any SPL.

Most omnidirectional lavaliers and headsets are available now:

with the 4088, 4188, 4288, and 4488 cardioids and the 4166 and 4062 omnidirectionals to follow later this year.
 
(The 6060 series will not be receiving a Core+ update at this time; the 3mm head is too small.)
