Let us know what production audio products announced or released in 2024 were your favorite!

The submission form is here. Feel free to name multiple products, nominate a entire product series, or submit software or other new products! We've included a list of some of the eligible itemss below the nomination form, but it's only intended for reference, not as a definitive eligibility list.

Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, December 15th, 2024 after which we'll take the nominated products and open up voting for an award presentation in January.

Can't make it to the Gotham Sound Expo?  Fret not, we'll be broadcasting live all day from the floor to our YouTube and Facebook pages and answering your questions from the internet from 11am-3pm EDT.

The exigencies of broadcasting from 18 booths in a four hour slot mean that we'll be moving fast, so to help prepare questions in advance, after the jump you'll find the order of interviews and some of what the manufacturers will have on hand to demo, (plus a link to our NAB coverage if you want to pre-game.)

Sell and buy used production audio equipment directly with other mixers and with no entry fee or commission at the Gotham Flea Market (Expo Edition).

If you're planning on selling, please register here. Tables and power will be provided, but be prepared to use and accept cash, PayPal, and/or Venmo.

Can't make it? No worries - we'll be reporting on everything new live from the show floor on our YouTube and Facebook pages and you can always contact our office to arrange a demo as gear becomes available.

Event COVID Policy: At the moment, we are not requiring proof of vaccination and masks will be strongly recommended, but not required for attendees. Additional precautionary measures may be implemented in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Join us Sunday, November 13th in Queens for an interactive workshop  demonstrating the process and etiquette of figuring out lavalier concealment solutions. Registration required at gothamsound.com/nycbubblebee

Try out your best wiring techniques on live talent in a variety of genre costumes. Topics will include etiquette, body language, and physical arrangement of the lavalier and transmitter with tips and tricks provided by sponsors Bubblebee Industries and Gotham Sound.

Admission is open to IATSE 52 members and any potential future applicants (regardless of application status or fulfillment of membership requirements). Registration is $20, which will be returned in the form of a Gotham gift card upon attendance.

RSVPs are now open for the Gotham Sound Expo on Saturday, May 7th at Pig Beach Queens in Long Island City.

Pig Beach is a large outdoors space (with covered patios in case of rain). The time-ticketed RSVP system is in place to keep the number of attendees allowed inside well within safe occupancy limits, which will be strictly enforced. Admission is only guaranteed during your registered time slot; please limit yourself to one time slot registration, so we can accommodate as many attendees as possible.
