DCHT for Me, See?

DCHT for Me, See?

The Lectrosonics DCHT Portable Stereo Digital Transmitter is a compact wideband digital dual channel IFB or camera hop transmitter designed to work with the M2R receiver.

The DCHT transmits two channels of audio and accepts analog mic or line level audio via Y-adapter cables (sold separately) to the TA6F input or AES digital signals from a mixer to the AES input. It can tune across the UHF TV band from 470 to 608 MHz with adjustable 10/25/50 MHz RF output power. A 2-way IR sync port enables quick setup of associated receivers.

Does Whatever a SPDR Can

Does Whatever a SPDR Can

The Lectrosonics SPDR is a small, lightweight dual channel recorder with time code. It captures full stereo audio for sports, cars, or other situations where a wireless system would be impractical.

The SPDR retails for $1179 and starts shipping immediately. Initial supplies may be limited, so distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Ticking Reblock

The Ticking Reblock

The FCC deadline on selling legacy wireless equipment is the end of September. Though you will be able to continue to use older equipment (as long as it complies with legal frequencies and power output), manufacturers will not be able to sell any components that have not been recertified by the FCC, including the components that are necessary for moving your wireless to a different frequency.

Bottom line: if you need your older Lectrosonics or Zaxcom wireless gear reblocked, make arrangements as soon as possible.

Lectrosonics
is already booked through August and they've specified that the following gear will not be able to be reblocked after September: HH, HM, UH, UM400a, and UT. Here's our guide to Lectro reblocking pricing and which frequencies need to be changed.

Zaxcom has not created a specific list, but assume reblocking any of their discontinued wireless products is subject to the same September 30th deadline. Here's our guide to Zaxcom reblocking pricing and which frequencies need to be changed.
